There's not much to say about the Effingham Disc Golf Evangelists. They do enjoy disc golf.
There are a few things to mention that we have in common...
1) Although EDGE members do enjoy an occasional round of ball golf ("real golf" as the duffers would say), we do not enjoy paying the exorbitant ($40 to $100) fees to play 18-holes. Oh sure, the fee entitles you to ride in a fancy battery-powered cart...but that pretty much defeats the purpose of calling this kind of golf "exercise"...unless the exercise portion involves walking from the cart to the ball and back again. Disc golf involves walking, which makes it good exercise.
2) EDGE members are caretakers of the Effingham Disc Golf Course and strive to ensure that the natural beauty of the course is maintained.
3) EDGE members preach the good news of DG to everyone within earshot.
