After meeting Kerry Kuhn at a BOAH ride in June '08 where he gave a Practical Horsemanship demo, we friends decided that we'd book him for a 3 day clinic in our area. The following October Kerry flew into the Bloomington, IL airport where a friend and I picked him up on a very rainy Thursday night. It was a short ride back to Arcola, IL where he spent the weekend with one of the clinic participants. Due to the inclement weather we spent the entire 3 days at the indoor arena; however, that didn't dampen our enthusiasm. At the end of the third day, we started laying the plans for the next clinic--5 days at the J J Ranch in Coats, KS.

     After we completed Day #1, we drove Kerry to a nearby Amish farm where our entire group enjoyed a wonderful supper served "family style". We learned Kerry has distinct preferences for food! At the end of Day #2 we all gathered at my house for a potluck and entertainment provided by local musicians led by my horse riding neighbor Bill.
