My Family

I live in Arcola, IL with my husband Randy. I recently retired from a teaching career, while my husband continues as the principal of Arcola Jr/Sr High School.      We have two daughters; our oldest just graduated with honors from the U of I College of Business and is working out of state as a financial analyst. Our youngest has just been accepted into the Dental Hygiene program after taking classes at the U of I and Parkland trying to decide upon a major.      My equine family consists of my gelding Little Man and a 4 year old filly Ebony. I've owned LM for over almost 5 years now. Together we've done quite a few trail rides, parades, and "road" miles since then. Ebony shares similar bloodlines as LM, and I hope that she proves to be a good broodmare in due time. Currently, I'm doing some groundwork with her, saddling her, riding her in the paddock......nothing too risky to my own fragile bones!
