The New Gym has been renamed Oakland Gymnasium.
Did You Know?
In 2004-2005, Oakland and Kansas started an athletic co-op for all sports. The Oakland Oaks and Kansas Bulldogs are now history -- the former rivals are now teammates. The teams are called the Titans; team colors are purple and orange. Good grief.

This photo shows the football field the way we knew it, not the way it is now. In the summer of 1999, the football field and surrounding area underwent a transformation. The field itself was leveled and replanted, and a watering system was installed. The rickety press box was replaced with a concrete structure that has two bathrooms on the ground level. The bleachers were painted black and moved back behind the track.
