The Family Christmas Dinner at the Arcola Christian Church at 6:30 PM. Be prepared for a visit from Santa Claus. The club provides gifts for each child in attendance. Adults bring a Male or Female gift valued at $5.00 - $7.00.

SIGHT OR HEARING SCREENING 2010
The Arcola Lions Club in conjunction with the Lions of Illinois Foundation will sponsor a free hearing screening next to the Arcola Center across from Casey's at the south west corner or Route 45 and Arcola's Main Street in the summer of 2010. The hours will be from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Helen Keller is the inspiration for our Mission Statement.
SERVICES: To help people afflicted with sight and
hearing impairments.
Our mission is to restore these senses whenever possible through competent
medical care. The LIONS SIGHT & HEARING FOUNDATION was formed in 1974 to carry
out Helen Keller's challenge to be "Knights of the Blind."

Chairman Lion Jerry Stout announced that Candy Days will be on Saturday, October, 2010. Collections will be received at the usual four-way stop at Route 45 and Route 133 plus at the four-way stop at Main and Locust. Hours of collection will be 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Shifts will be 2 hours each.
CHILI SUPPER
Scheduled for Friday October, 2010 before the last home football game.
Hours are 5:00 PM to approximately 7:00 PM prior to the game.
